The Orpheum in Flagstaff
After a great breakfast at Macy’s European Coffeehouse, we walked around Flagstaff, snapping more photos. Then, a leisurely drive to Snow Bowl ski area and wandered the alpine amongst the quaking Aspen. Finally to the airport, to see Patty off to home, and pick up Laura for the next leg of the trip.
We arrived in Winslow at the beautiful La Posada and had an amazing dinner in the famous Turquoise Room. (Fried squash blossoms & elk medallions with a black currant sauce – the black currants were grown by our server!)
So, we cancelled our plans to move on down the road tomorrow and are staying here an extra night!
