It’s cold. Days are short, and slowly getting longer. A perfect time to start planning your road trips! I am plotting a spring getaway, and started to get a bit side-tracked. Hopefully, you will benefit from my google meanderings. And of course, be sure to download the iPhone app, “Best Road Trip Ever!” to make those long car trips a bit more fun.

Parades will begin on January 19th. All NEW ORLEANS parade activity will pause from January 28th – February 5th due to Super Bowl XLVII, which takes place on February 3rd. However, there will be parades rolling during this time throughout Metairie, Slidell, Mandeville, Covington & Chalmette. New Orleans parade activity will resume as normal from February 6th – 12th
